2023-24 Indoor: Competed in four indoor meets for the Panthers. Simpson opened his season with a personal best in the 3000 with a time of 8:30.58, earning him a ninth place finish at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 13). He posted another personal best in the Mile with a time of 4:03.53 at the Boston U Valentine Invitational (Feb. 9-10). Simpson's highest placement of the season was a second place finish alongside his teammates in the Distance Medley Relay at the Penn State National Open (Jan. 26-27). He wrapped up his season with a tenth place finish in the Distance Medley Relay at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 22-24).

2023 Outdoor: Competed in seven outdoor meets for the Panthers. The best placement of Simpson’s outdoor campaign was at Carnegie Mellon’s Last Chance Meet where he placed fourth in the 800 at a time of 1:55.93. He also set a personal record at the Bison Outdoor Classic in the 1500 at a time of 3:50.61.

2022-23 Indoor: Competed in five indoor meets for the Panthers. Simpson’s best placement came at the Bucknell Tune-Up where he placed second in the mile at a time of 4:15.38. He also set two personal records at the ACC Championships in the 800 and mile with respective times of 1:53.60 and 4:09.82.

High School: Earned state medal in the 800m with a time of 1:54.50 (2022), 6 district medals (2019-2022), 2nd in Seneca Valley High School history in the 800m,and 3rd in Seneca Valley High School history in the 1600m

Personal: Born in Pittsburgh…son of Timothy and Donna Simpson…brother to Zoe Simpson…majoring in information systems.
