Ellermeyer, Grabfelder Tabbed PNC Achievers of the Week

PITTSBURGH – Men's soccer's Caden Grabfelder and women's soccer's Katie Ellermeyer have been names Pitt's PNC Achievers of the week after exceptional performances last week.
Ellermeyer helped the Panthers to a 2-0 week with wins over Liberty and Cornell. The sophomore scored the game-tying goal in the victory over Cornell Sunday. The penalty kick goal helped build momentum for the Panthers' comeback win over the Big Red. Ellermeyer also played 83 minutes against Liberty, contributing to Pitt's first shutout of the season.
Grabfelder scored his first goal of the season Friday, opening the scoring in Pitt's 2-1 win over Penn State, his former team. Grabfelder finished with two shots on goal across a full 90 minutes, marking his third consecutive start and complete match played this season.
