2007: Jessica Dignon led the team with a .311 batting average, 33 runs and 52 hits...started all 58 games at third base...tallied 50 putouts and 122 assists for a .940 fielding percentage...recorded All-Big East third team honors...stole a career-high 15 bases on the year...went 2-for-3 against Miami-Ohio with a RBI and six assists...scored the lone run and posted three putouts in the loss to Winthrop...tallied her third double of the season against College of Charleston...gave the Panthers a lead against Providence when she scored a run...drove in three runs and scored two of her own against Seton Hall...recorded four assists in game two of the St. John's doubleheader...blasted her first two home runs of the season during the Villanova, Rutgers weekend and recorded seven RBI...named Big East Player of the Week on April 30...tallied her 13th double of the season against Robert Morris, which tied a single-season record. 2006: Dignon started all 59 games for the Panthers...earned All-Big East third team honors...led the team in the following offensive categories: .337 bating average, 62 hits and 184 at bats...her .337 batting average set a single-season program record...second on the team with 29 runs, 11 doubles and three triples...finished with 29 RBI and a .446 slugging percentage...stole the team's third-best 14 bases...recorded three hits against Youngstown St. (March 23) and Syracuse (April 15)...garnered six assists and three putouts in the Providence game (April 29). 2005: Dignon started 38 of 41 games...recorded a .254 batting average...tallied 16 RBI on the season...hit her lone homer against Seton Hall (April 23), where she went two-for-four at the plate with one run scored and two RBI. HIGH SCHOOL: Dignon compiled a .436 batting average in her senior year at Baldwin High School...two-time first-team all-state selection in 2003 and 2004...led Baldwin to WPIAL Championship in 2001 and section titles in 2001 and 2002...All-WPIAL District 6 in her last three seasons...Pittsburgh-Post Gazette and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review All-South honoree as a junior and senior...also earned All-WPIAL honors as a senior by both publications...earned a spot on the NSA Diamond Dolls in 2004...earned Baldwin's Female Athlete of the Year Award in 2004...participated for Pittsburgh Wildfire in 2002, leading her team to a fourth-place finish at the NSA World Series and placed fifth at Pony Nationals as part of the Pittsburgh Spirit club team this past year...member of Baldwin's basketball team...an honor roll student all four years.
