AS A JUNIOR (2008)
Part of the foundation for the Panthers during her career, was selected as team MVP and is co-captin of this year's squad...Collected 25 top 10 finishes last season-12 on the uneven bars, four on the balance beam and nine on the floor exercise...A first-team ALl-EAGL selection on the uneven bars...Also selected to the All-EAGL Tournament Team for her fifth place finish on the uneven bars...The leading returner on the bars and floor, Croop has the top two scores on the bars, 9.800 against Rutgers and at Maryland, as well as two of the top four on the beam and five of the six best marks on the floor, including the season-high of 9.875 against UNC, Cornell and Temple...She carried a 9.717 average on the bars, and a 9.667 on the floor, both team high's.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2007)
Alix Croop remained an integral part of the uneven bars lineup and also broke into the floor exercise and balance beam lineups as a sophomore...averaged a 9.632 on the uneven bars, scoring a season-high 9.775 at the EAGL Championships and also versus Missouri and Central Michigan...posted a 9.650 or better in eight of 12 meets...scored a career-high 9.675 on the floor exercise at Rutgers...had a career-high 9.475 on the balance beam at Rutgers.
AS A FRESHMAN (2006)
Croop competed in 10 meets on the uneven bars in her rookie season...Set a career-high 9.825 for fifth place on March 18 versus Penn State...One of three Pitt event finalists on the uneven bars at the Missouri Cat Classic where she placed fifth...Tied for 14th on the uneven bars at the EAGL Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL
Croop was the regional champion in 2003...finished seventh on the floor exercise and 18th in the all-around at the 2003 National Championships...placed first on the uneven bars and second in the all-around at the 2004 Regional Championships...finished third in the all-around at the 2002 Level 10 State Championships and eighth at the Regional Championships...was a runner-up in the all-around, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise at the 2003 State Championships...led her team to a second-place finish at the 2004 National Championships, finishing eighth on the uneven bars, balance beam and all-around...unable to compete in 2005 because of an ACL tear at the season's start...trained since age five at Parkettes under the guidance of Bill and Donna Strauss, Robin Netwall, Sol Kahn and John Holman...homeschooled throughout junior and senior high school, allowing her to train twice per day with the Parkettes elites.
