CHEERLEADERS ROSTER | DANCE TEAM ROSTER
The University of Pittsburgh Cheerleaders and Dance Team have been coached by Theresa Nuzzo for the past 42 years. The Pitt Cheerleaders and Dance Team have established a reputation as two of the elite squads in the nation. Most recently, our Cheer Team placed 4th in Small Coed Division 1A, while our Dance Team placed 5th in Division 1A Pom as well as a Top Twenty finish in an incredible Division 1A Jazz.
In addition to their performances at various athletic events, the Cheerleaders and Dance Team are active throughout the Pittsburgh community and neighboring states participating in charitable events, parades, and other special events. The squads generate vocal support and significant enthusiasm from the Oakland Zoo, the University's notorious student basketball cheering section, as well as, the Panther Pitt at Acrisure Stadium!
PITT CHEERLEADERS
Since 1990, the Pitt Cheerleaders have won several National Championships, including three straight from 1992-1994. In 1992 and 1993, they won back to back titles at the NCA Collegiate Cheerleading Championships in Dallas, Texas. Following these outstanding accomplishments, they captured the prestigious UCA Collegiate Cheerleading Championship title, held in San Diego, California in 1994. In 2019, our Cheerleaders once again brought home a 1st place finish and National Championship title from the NCA Collegiate National Championships in Small Coed Division 1. The Cheerleaders have enjoyed strong finishes at NCA Collegiate Nationals, most recently placing fourth in 2024 in the Small Coed Division1A. Other top finishes include in fourth place in 2004 and fifth in both 2000 and 2022.

PITT DANCE TEAM
In previous competitions, the University of Pittsburgh Dance Team has placed amongst the top 20 Dance Teams in the country, including a fifth-place finish in 1998 at the National Collegiate Cheerleading and Dance Championships held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Dance team continues to have impressive competitive appearances consistently finishing in the Top 10 in Division 1A Team Performance and Jazz. Most recently finishing 5th in Division 1A Pom in 2024.

- 3 hours before kick off: Parking Lot/ Tailgate visits/ Alumni Tent
- 2.5 hours before kick off: Panther Prowl, Help us welcome Coach Narduzzi and the Panthers to Acrisure Stadium
- 1 hour before kick off: March to Victory Parade down General Robinson
