Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Overview

SAAC is comprised of three student-athletes from each intercollegiate athletic team.
SAAC meets twice a month to discuss the various topics concerning the student-athletes and athletic department.

Mission:

The mission of SAAC is to:

Provide a reliable contact and liaison between the University of Pittsburgh athletic department and the varsity athletic teams that represent the University of Pittsburgh.
Bring the opinions and concerns of the student-athletes to the attention of the Athletic Director and members of the athletic department administration.
Represent the University of Pittsburgh varsity athletic programs in the campus and community.
Develop a sense of pride and unity between all members of all teams.
