With two away after Levesque grounded out, Gray hit a tough ball to second, allowing Fredericks to come home.
Rutgers added another run in the bottom of the second on a sacrifice fly by Nicole Bowman. After giving up a leadoff double, Harris was relieved by Rahach. Rahach gave up a walk to the first batter she faced to put two runners on. Both runners advanced on a groundout to the right side, setting up the Bowman sac fly.
