What songs have you completely memorized?
When I was younger, my friends and I would listen to songs like If I Were A Boy by Beyoncé and Disturbia by Rihanna all the time, so I have them completely memorized.
In which movie universe would you most like to live?
Friends is my favorite show, so I would love to live the life of one of the characters.
What's the farthest you've ever been from home?
I've been to California a few times to visit my family.
Which app do you use the most on your phone?
I use either iMessage or Snapchat the most.
Why did you choose Pitt?
I chose Pitt because I fell in love with the team dynamic and wanted to be part of such a close and encouraging team. I also really liked Pitt's academic programs and the many opportunities offered to students. I felt that Pitt was the best fit for me academically and athletically.
What are you studying?
I am studying rehabilitation science, but am unsure what path I will take with that.
Who introduced you to the sport of cross country?
I ran cross country my freshman year of high school to stay in shape for lacrosse, but my high school coach is the reason I fell in love with running and decided to run track.
Who is your favorite professional athlete of all time?
Alexi Pappas is my favorite athlete of all time because she's different than most professional athletes. She is very encouraging and I love reading the poems and stories she writes.
Do you have any pre-meet rituals you have to do?
The night before every meet I eat chicken and/or pasta.
What is the craziest thing to happen to you during a race?
A couple years ago during indoor track, I ran the 800m and fell with about 300 meters to go. Other runners competing in my race had to jump over me but after a few seconds I got back up and finished.
